What is Magical Season of Giving?
A popular holiday fund-raising event. The event will feature exclusive savings throughout the mall, plus family-oriented activities and holiday entertainment.

Is Magical Season of Giving open to the public?
Yes, the mall is open to the general public during the event.

Why is Magical Season of Giving held?
It is Eastland Mall’s wish to give back to the community that is so good to us all year through this unique charitible event.

This event also provides a unique chance for people to get a jump start on their holiday shopping and have a lot of fun at the same time, including visiting with Santa and his special guests. With the many store discounts and specials being offered, shoppers can save money while raising funds for local non-profit and charitable groups.

How do non-profit organizations make money?
The event is a unique fundraising occasion very similar to Eastland's school fundraising promotion called Earning for Learning. Any qualified non-profit organization, exclucing schools (because of Earning for Learning), wishing to become a part of the event, may register their organization in the fall.  During Magical Season of Giving (MSOG), every dollar that customers spend equal one point for the organization of their choice.  There is no cost for non-profit organizations to register.

I don’t want to shop or make a donation. Can I just enter the door prize drawings?
You can enter the drawings by sending a 3 ½ x 5 card complete with your name, address, daytime phone number, date of birth, and email address to MSOG DRAWING c/o Eastland Mall, 2740-B Eastland Mall, Columbus, OH 43232. All mail-in entries must be post-marked by December 11, 2009. Individuals may also visit the Mall Office during regular mall hours and request an official entry form. Incomplete entries will not be accepted. Individuals must be 18 years of age or older to be eligible for prizes and must be able to provide proper identification to receive a prize.

Tell me more about the prizes?
Prizes of varying values will be awarded towards the end of the promotion (date/time TBD). To be eligible to win a prize, you must complete an official entry form during the course of the event or submit a mail-in entry as described above. Winning numbers will be posted on a tote board. To enter the drawing, you must be 18 years or age or older, but do not need to be present to win. Details, including a list of available prizes, are available at the Mall Management Office, or on-line at www.eastland-mall.com. Employees of Glimcher Realty Trust and its affiliate companies are not eligible to win prizes but may take advantage of the MSOG discounts.

How do we get involved?
Representatives of qualified non-profit organizations interested in becoming a part of the event are encouraged to register early by calling Kristie Holmes, Marketing Director in the Eastland Mall office at 614.861.3234 or by email at kholmes@glimcher.com.
